Give me a break

I allowed myself yesterday to take the day off and let me think and do what pleases me without overthinking about any daily obligations. To find myself in this happy position, I organize things first. I settle any pending tasks or business and notify anyone needed. Just like I would do if I was about to plan a long-time vacation. I give often myself the permission for a break. It does not have to be a full day, an hour or a quarter of an hour since life, obligations and work continue to be there. My “day-off”, my break needs to last as long as I need and own to myself. The permission I give myself is not related to social time. I give myself a permission to be alone, to think, feel and dream so that I can return with energy and fresh mind.
